No tracking without your permission

This website does not use advertising cookies and does not track you across other websites. Analytics are used only if you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner; until then, no analytics script is even loaded.

Essential storage

• Security: our website firewall may set a short-lived cookie to protect the site from abuse.
• Your cookie choice: remembered in your browser (as “qed_consent”) so we do not ask on every page.
• The sign-up invitation: remembers in your browser (as “qed_pop”) that you have signed up or closed it, so it is not shown again, or not for 30 days after you close it. It contains no personal information.
• The story page: remembers, for your current visit only, that you have seen its opening, so it does not replay. This is cleared when you close the tab.
• Site editors: people who sign in to manage the site receive login cookies. Visitors do not.

Analytics, only if you accept

If you accept, we use Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) to count visits and see which pages are useful, and our contact-management system’s tracking code so that, if you later contact us, your earlier page visits are linked to your inquiry. These set cookies such as “_ga” and “hubspotutk” for up to 13 months. Change your mind at any time through “Cookie settings” in the site footer.

Your control

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website will continue to work.
