What you will do:
– Work collaboratively with the research and development team.
– Solve research problems with the goal of building a prototype and beyond.
– Develop new synthetic methods and process improvements to increase safety, decrease complexity and costs.
– Perform literature reviews and research to develop new ideas and solutions to problems.
– Take an active approach to solving technical problems and troubleshooting as projects progress on the commercialization roadmap
Qualifications:
– PhD in inorganic or materials chemistry
– Experience with energy storage development
– Knowledge and experience in measuring and calculating the performance of energy storage devices such as charge density
– Experience with a wide range of inorganic and organic synthetic methods including inert atmosphere techniques
– Experience with materials characterization techniques such as SEM and X-Ray diffraction
– Experience working with Nano materials
